Overview
The new edition of this standard specifies the general requirements of enamelled round aluminium wire with or without a bonding layer on which the other standards are based as far as they concern round copper wire. The specifications for the dimensions of intermediate values has been changed. The responsible committee is DKE/K 413 "Wickeldrähte" ("Winding wires") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
