Overview

This standard applies to transportable mitre saws with a toothed blade and intended for cutting wood and analogous materials, plastics and nonferrous metals except magnesium with a saw blade diameter not exceeding 360 mm, which may simply be referred to as saw or tool. This Corrigendum includes a correction for 8.3. The responsible committee is DKE/K 514 "Elektrowerkzeuge" ("Electric tools") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
