Overview
This standard is a product standard for connectors. This standard is valid in connection with VG 95319-2 and VG 96921-2 and VG 96921-3 for two-pole concentric connectors to be inserted in electrical systems at voltages up to 50 V. Connectors of the Type B to Type G have one pole connected to the chassis. All connectors can be coupled with connectors according to DIN EN ISO 4165. Components according to this standard are subject to approval according to VG 95319-2. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN.
