The scope of this document covers storage systems or their main components for connection to the low-voltage network for industrial, commercial, and private use. The scope has been deliberately kept open, as much of the content can also be applied to similar applications and technologies. This draft describes in detail the measurement of efficiency parameters and their presentation in the data sheet. In addition, the parameters required for the design of storage systems are also specified. Devices for off-grid applications can only be measured to a limited extent in accordance with this document. This document is primarily intended to be used to measure the efficiency of home storage systems. Entire storage systems can be measured, as well as individual main components such as the battery or the inverter. This document is primarily intended to be applied to storage systems based on Li-ion batteries.
