Short description

This standard specifies technical equipment requirements with regard to active sampling for the investigation of airborne particles, their constituents, and selected gaseous substances in outdoor and indoor air by means of an low-volume sampler (LVS). It specifies the basic requirements for components as well as permissible tolerances of the volume flow of the LVS, which can be used for reproducible sampling in the described mode of operation and by using a suitable sampling device.
