Short description
This guideline provides handling instructions for planning, erection, decrease and operation of plants for the hygienically safe processing and for the aseptic filling of microbiologically sensitive drinks and milk mixing drinks without the addition of preservatives and cold shoot inactivation means as well as without measures for the shoot inactivation as e.g. hot filling or tunnelpasteurization after locking the arrangement. The guideline is valid for aseptic bottling plants and its peripheries which fill and lock commercial steril drinks and milk mixing drinks free of recontamination into packagings pre-inactivated from shoots or packagings which have been produced shoot-free in the plant. Furthermore, it is valid for all assigned equipment and aggregates as well as for the plant surrounding area. Aseptic bottling plants of the pharmaceutical industry are not treated since the conceptualities and requirements differ from those of the food and beverage industry.
