Short description
The standard describes procedures for type testing, initial inspection and acceptance testing as well as for the inspection of height gauges. The necessary steps for the respective tests are described in the form of directly applicable handling and work instructions. In addition to calibration, the preparatory work on the calibration device and on the test objects is explained. In addition, notes are given on the evaluation of the calibration and on documentation. This standard applies in conjunction with the standards VDI/VDE/DGQ/DKD 2618 Part 1.1 and Part 1.2. In addition to adaptations to the current normative specifications, the example of a measurement uncertainty budget is listed in the Annex of the new edition. The standard is aimed at testing and calibration laboratories, service providers, auditors, manufacturers and users of dial gauges.
