Short description
The standard specifies the requirements for the planning, validation and application of self-developed or modified measurement methods to ensure the validity of the measurement results. It supplements and supports the general requirements of DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 with regard to the planning and selection as well as the validation of a measurement procedure and the application of the measurement procedure from sampling to the validity of the measurement results to the reporting with the evaluation of the measurement results. This standard is intended for bodies carrying out determinations of air pollutants at stationary sources, for accreditation bodies and for competent authorities in the field of air pollution control. It is primarily aimed at the competent personnel of bodies entrusted with the development and validation of measurement methods, e.g. the technically responsible persons and their deputies.
