VDI 4201 Blatt 1:2025-12

This standard specifies the general minimum requirements for a digital interface for data exchange between automatic measuring systems (AMS) and data acquisition and evaluation systems (DAHS) for monitoring emissions. The specific requirements for the realization of a digital interface based on a specific profile or a specific specification are defined in the other parts of the series of standards VDI 4201. These general and the specific minimum requirements apply to suitability tests of AMS and DAHS equipped with digital interfaces. The series of standards VDI 4201 fulfills the requirements of the series of standards DIN EN 17255 and DIN EN 15267-3 as well as the uniform practice in monitoring emissions (Bundeseinheitliche Praxis bei der Überwachung der Emissionen - BEP) with regard to the complete description of a digital interface in the body of standards and guidelines.
