1.1 This practice covers minimum requirements for the design and manufacture of Electric Engines for light sport aircraft, VFR use. The Electric Propulsion System (EPS) shall as a minimum consist of the electric engine, associated controllers, disconnects and wiring, and EPS monitoring gauges and meters. 1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
