Overview
This standard specifies temperature levels and areas of application for lubricants used in precision mechanical-optical equipment. In addition, a classification of lubricant groups for different temperature ranges is made. Requirements for the physical-chemical lubricant characteristics are specified. The committee responsible for preparation of this standard is Working Committee NA 027-01-11 AA "Fertigungsmittel der Optik" ("Production in optical engineering") at DIN (NAFuO).
