DIN EN 13242:2013-08

This European Standard specifies the properties of aggregates and filler aggregates obtained by processing natural, manufactured or recycled materials and mixtures of such aggregates for use in hydraulically bound and unbound materials for civil engineering work and road construction. It covers aggregates with an oven dried particle density greater than 2,0 Mg/m3 (2 000 kg/m3). It also covers recycled aggregates with a particle density greater than 1,50 Mg/m3 (1 500 kg/m3) and recycled fine aggregates with appropriate caveats. Annex A list of the source materials that have been considered and indicating those which are within the scope of this standard is given in Annex A (normative). Requirements for the assessment of conformity of products according to this European Standard shall be taken from EN 16236.
