Overview
The standard sheets of this loose-leaf publication specify requirements for gauges which are important for interchangeability of a lamp with a certain cap in the corresponding lamp holder. Through Amendments A41 and A42, new requirements for the gauges of systems BAU9s, BAUZ9s, GR14q, PU20d, G5, G9, GX10, GY10, 2G11, 2GX11, G13, G24, GX24, GY24 and G28d have been added. The Subcommittee responsible for the standard is UK 521.2 "Lampensockel und -fassungen" ("Lamp caps and holders") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
This document replaces DIN EN 60061-3:2010-05 .
