This document is the translation of the International Standard ISO 5832-7:2016, which has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 150 "Implants for surgery", SC 1 "Materials". The responsible national committee is Working Committee NA 027-02-06 AA "Implantatwerkstoffe" ("Implant materials") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO). This part of ISO 5832 specifies the characteristics of, and corresponding test methods for, forgeable and cold-formed cobalt-chromium-nickel-molybdenum-iron alloy for use in the manufacture of surgical implants.
