The ISO 6107 series of standards has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 147 "Water quality", the secretariat of which is held by DIN (Germany). The responsible German standardization committee is Working Committee at Working Committee NA 119-01-03 AA "Wasseruntersuchung" ("Water quality") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW). The responsible working committee points out that adoption of the complete ISO 6107 series of standards as DIN ISO standards will be carried out without any changes. All technical comments addressed to DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW) during the drafting phase or from application of the standards will be used for the revision of the series of standards in ISO/TC 147 "Water quality". ISO 6107 consists of a series of nine parts with the main title Water quality - Vocabulary. The first eight parts do not have an individual title, but the ninth part is an index to the first eight parts and is titled as follows: - Part 9: Alphabetical list and subject index.
