This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 140-00-05 AA NA 140-00-05 AA (Elektrische Kabel und Leitungen) (Electrical cables and wires) at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). It contains changes to the standard VG 95218-28-1:2023-04. This standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 95218-2 and the standards of the VG 95218-28 series for cables used to connect devices and systems. This standard contains the requirements for shielded cables according to VG 95218-28-2 to VG 95218-28-6, which shall be verified by the manufacturer as part of the type test.
