This standard is a product standard for crimping tools. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 140-00-14-07 UA "Crimpwerkzeuge" ("Crimping Tools") at the Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) at DIN. This standard applies to the processing of RJ45 connectors according to VG 96938 in conjunction with VG 95236-6. Components according to this standard are subject to approval according to VG 95211. Components according to this standard can be used at operating temperatures from -15 °C to 49 °C.
