The guideline describes the standardised procedure of floristic mapping in the context of monitoring the environmental effects of GM plants. The guideline specifies requirements for selection of the mapping date and schedule as well as selection of the study area. The data recordings in floristic mapping data sheets as well as analysis and documentation are described in detail. Furthermore, known German-occurring potential crossing partners of oilseed rape and bread wheat are listed as examples.
