Short description

This guideline is a pragmatic tool allowing any party involved in the textile chain to meet its requirements, intending at the same time to take into account the requirements of all other parties involved who need not necessarily be known to the former. It also offers manufacturers and suppliers of RFID solutions the opportunity to identify which requirements the participants in the textile chain expect the RFID technology to meet, allowing them to develop it accordingly. The guideline is intended to form a frame of reference for the entire clothing industry, making sure that all those involved in the textile chain use a harmonised standard of RFID technology.
