The document contains information for expedient performance of temperature measurements and reveals the main aspects for the assessment of measuring uncertainties. Table 1 provides an overview of the commonest temperature measuring instruments along with special temperature measuring systems. Clause 2 contains principal considerations regarding temperature measurement, particularly concerning the standardization of temperature measuring equipment on the international temperature scale.
