Short description
This International Standard specifies a method for sampling, sample conditioning and determining dinitrogen monoxide (N2O) content in the flue gas emitted from ducts and stacks to atmosphere. It describes the non- dispersive infrared (NDIR) analytical technique, including the sampling system and sample gas conditioning system. This ISO standard is considered as a reference method for periodic monitoring and for calibration, adjustment or control of automatic monitoring systems permanently installed on a stack. This reference method has been evaluated based on a field test on sewage sludge incineration. It has been validated for N2O concentrations in the range of 0 mg/m3 - 400 mg/m3.
Please get in touch with the relevant contact person at DIN if you have problems understanding the content of the standard or need advice on how to apply it.
