VG 81226-2:2015-11

This standard has been prepared by the DIN Shipbuilding and Marine Technology Standards Committee (NSMT), Working Committee NA 132-05-03 AA "Kennzeichnungen" ("Marking"). This standard contains a selection of safety signs, prohibition signs, warning signs, mandatory signs, emergency signs for escape routes/emergency exits, supplementary signs and combination signs which are used for new building, reconstruction, modification and operating of vessels and floating equipment of the German Navy in regulations, for example building guidelines or official instructions. In addition, the principles of safety marking and requirements with regard to font, dimensions, material, performance and designation are specified in this standard. This standard cancels and replaces VG 81226-2:2011-12.
