Short description

The standard outlines the necessary steps for the design of heat pump systems in single-family and multi-family homes from the preliminary and conceptual design to detailed planning. It provides guidance on recommended hydraulic switches, for the dimensioning of system components, for documentation, commissioning of the system and training of the operator as well as cost considerations. Checklists and examples in the Annex of the standard give support at the procedure of planning. Even the meaningful interaction with other system components, such as additional heat sources, heat storage, heat distribution and heat transfer is considered.
