Short description

Practical experience has shown that conventional planning leads to recurring errors and conflicts between those involved. The main causes are a lack of understanding of roles and responsibilities and uncoordinated exchange processes. In particular, the information exchange requirements (known as exchange requirements) for the respective sub-processes are not sufficiently described. This standard specifies the roles, their sub-processes and the associated information exchange requirements for the application case of building automation. The description of this specification of information is based on the Information Delivery Manual (IDM) described in VDI 2552 Part 11.1.
