Short description
The standards VDI 6200 describes how regular inspections of the stability of constructions are to be carried out in a structured, efficient and economical manner in order to prevent structural damage or damage to life and limb. It provides assessment and evaluation criteria, proven checklists, instructions for action and recommendations for assessing the stability of structural facilities and for their maintenance, both for existing and new buildings. The standard is widely used in the industry. In order to specify the qualifications of the persons named in VDI 6200 and to be able to answer the questions repeatedly asked in this regard, a corresponding specification is made in this standard.
