This standard provides users of threaded fasteners with a procedure for evaluating and specifying the performance of power operated assembly tools in the typical working range of 0,5 N·m to 1000 N·m and enables manufacturers of power-operated and hand-operated tools to offer their products under correlated technical specifications. The standard specifies a laboratory performance test procedure and provides instructions on what and how to test and how to analyse and present the test data. It applies to tools that generate an uninterrupted torque trace and to production spanners.
