Overview

This Technical Specification supplements the DIN CEN ISO/TS 18234 series with detailed road event information which can be encoded and transmitted to the user. TPEG (Transport Protocol Expert Group) is a part of the comprehensive specifications of a byte-oriented data stream format which transmits traffic report messages of service providers (radio or broadcasting stations) to end-users (vehicles) and is received and evaluated by clients visually or audibly in the corresponding language.
