Overview
This Technical Specification has been prepared by CEN/TC 155/WG 8 "Systems for water supply and pressure drainage and sewerage - PVC-U (solid wall)" (secretariat: SNV, Switzerland) with the active German collaboration of Working Committee NA 119-04-06-08 GUA "Kunststoffrohre in der Trinkwasserversorgung - Erdverlegte Druckrohrleitungen aus thermoplastischen Werkstoffen" ("Plastic pipes in the drinking water supply - Buried pressure pipes made of thermoplastic materials"). This document supersedes DIN V ENV 1452-7:2001-03 and DIN CEN/TS 1456-2:2003-08. Guidance is given for the assessment of conformity of compounds/formulations, products (pipe parts), joints and assemblies in accordance with DIN EN ISO 1452-1, DIN EN ISO 1452-2, DIN EN ISO 1452-3, DIN EN ISO 1452-4 and DIN EN ISO 1452-5, respectively. They include type tests (TT), batch release tests (BRT), process verification tests (PVT), inspection tests (IT) and indirect tests (IT).
