Overview
This Technical Specification gives recommendations for the assessment of conformity of solid-wall piping systems made of polypropylene with mineral additives (PP-MD) according to DIN EN 14758-1, which are intended for use in - non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage for applications outside the building structure; and - non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage for applications both underground inside the building structure and outside the building structure.
The recommendations contained in the Technical Specification are part of the manufacturer's quality assurance system and are applied in the preparation of certification procedures.
The Technical Specification has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems" (secretariat: NEN, Netherlands). Joint Working Committee NA 119-05-28 GA "Kunststoffrohre in der Abwassertechnik" ("Plastics pipes in wastewater engineering") of DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW) participated for Germany in preparing the Technical Specification.
