DIN CEN/TS 1566-2:2025-02

This document gives guidance for specifying requirements for the AoC of compounds/formulation, products, joints and assemblies in accordance with the applicable part of EN 1566 intended to be included in the manufacturer's quality plan as part of the quality management system and for the establishment of certification procedures. A basic test matrix provides an overview of the testing scheme in Annex A. In conjunction with EN 1566-1 (see European foreword), this document is applicable to solid-wall piping systems made of chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-C) intended to be used for or soil and waste discharge systems (low and high temperature): a) inside buildings (application area code "B"); b) both inside buildings and buried in ground within the building structure (application area code "BD"). CEN/TS 1566-2:2023 has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 155 "Plastics piping systems and ducting systems", the secretariat of which is held by NEN (Netherlands). The responsible national standardization committee is Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss NAW/FNK NA 119-05-41 GA "Kunststoffrohre zum Ableiten von Abwasser innerhalb von Gebäuden" ("Joint working committee NAW/FNK Systems for soil and waste discharge within the building structure") at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
