Overview

In order to reduce the number of fatalities in traffic accidents in Europe, the emergency function (eCall) has been identified as one of various measures. Systems shall be defined which can be used beyond European borders. The Technical Report described here defines in addition to DIN EN 15722 necessary data values for heavy goods vehicles transmitting optionally necessary information (type of load, etcetera) to the first-aid station in order to be able to initiate effective rescue measures.
