Overview
This European Technical Specification for sandwich boards for furniture manufacturing (SWB-F) defines terms and establishes a classification. It specifies test methods, but no requirements. The European Technical Specification applies for flat, factory made, non-structural, faced and unfaced sandwich boards for dry (service class 1) and humid conditions (service class 2). Guidance is provided for the selection of board properties which are relevant for specific board applications. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 042-02-15 AA "Holzwerkstoffe - Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 112 und ISO/TC 89" ("Wood-based panels - Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 112 and ISO/TC 89") at DIN.
