DIN/TS 1187-2:2024-07

This standard provides recommendations for assessing the conformity of drainpipes made of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) in accordance with DIN 1187-1. The mandatory specification of requirements for conformity assessment is not the task or subject matter of this document. Nevertheless, the system of self-monitoring and external monitoring can contribute to compliance with the requirements specified in DIN 1187-1. The recommendations in this document represent a possibility for the voluntary application of self-monitoring and external monitoring. They are formulated in the form of guidelines that correspond to an exemplary procedure.
