Overview
This document provides recommendations for assessing the conformity of pipes, fittings, and their joints made from PVC-U, PP, and PE in accordance with DIN 4262-1. The mandatory specification of requirements for conformity assessment is not the task or subject matter of this document. Nevertheless, the system of self-monitoring and external monitoring can contribute to compliance with the requirements specified in DIN 4262-1. The recommendations in this document represent a possibility for the voluntary application of self-monitoring and external monitoring. They are formulated in the form of guidelines that correspond to an exemplary procedure. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 119-05-22 AA "Sickerrohre aus Kunststoff (CEN/TC 155/WG 26)" ("Plastic drainage pipes (CEN/TC 155/WG 26)")”at DIN Standards Committee Water Practice (NAW).
