This document applies to specialist companies that offer: - planning, - project management, - installation, - commissioning, - inspection, - acceptance, - delivery, - maintenance of: - burglar alarm systems, - hold-up alarm systems, - hazard warning systems and security technology in smart home applications with burglar alarm function. It describes the national minimum requirements in accordance with existing national and international standards and other application rules. If these requirements are met, then the protection of life, health, and property can be improved and criminal acts can be effectively prevented or made more difficult. From a crime prevention perspective, the technology shall be reliable, as shall the personnel responsible for installation and maintenance, in order to prevent opportunities for crime from being scouted out or points of attack from being built in. The following restrictions apply to the scope of application: - burglar alarm systems; - hold-up alarm systems; - hazard warning systems and security technology in smart home applications with burglar alarm function. Areas of application include, for example: - burglar alarm systems; - hold-up alarm systems.
