The use of Signal Heads with LED requires integration into the signal system. This prestandard specifies the technical requirements for Signal Heads with LED for use in Road Traffic Signal Systems. The responsible committee is DKE/UK 713.3 "Straßenverkehrs-Signalanlagen" ("Road traffic signal systems") of the DKE (German Commission for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies) at DIN and VDE.
