The 6th edition of DIN-VDE Pocketbook 351 covers a wide range of technical documentation in 22 documents. The documents contained deal with a considerable variety of topics:

In addition to the national editions of standards and the VDE document, this collection of documents also includes an international IEC standard, IEC 81355-1 for the classification and marking of documents. It is represented here for the first time. In addition, a number of important changes have taken place in the standardization of technical documentation, making this 6th edition of the proven DIN Pocketbook 351 necessary.

In addition to the aforementioned IEC 81355-1, the newly included documents include DIN ISO 16792 on the practical application of digital product data and the terminology standard DIN ISO 24183.

• 2 revised documents

DIN EN IEC/IEEE 82079-1 (VDE 0039-1) is both a standard and a VDE regulation; it deals with the basics of creating instructions for use and has been expanded and simplified. The terminology standard DIN EN ISO 10209 has been editorially revised and some changes and new terms have been added.
