Overview
This standard is applicable for the use of Category I lightweight horizontally perforated clay masonry units (HD units) and lightweight horizontally perforated day masonry units (LD units) according to DIN EN 771-1 used for internal non-loadbearing partitions made of masonry. This standard specifies the requirements for lightweight horizontally perforated clay masonry units that shall be additionally met by CE marked masonry units according to DIN EN 771-1 when they are used for non-loadbearing masonry according to DIN 4103-1. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-06-13 AA "Mauerziegel" ("Clay masonry units") at DIN.
