This standard specifies a method for determining the water-soluble extract. It is applicable to caffeinated and decaffeinated roasted coffee. The water-soluble extract determined by this standard is not comparable with the extract of an infusion of ground roasted coffee prepared by brewing. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 057-05-09 AA "Kaffee" ("Coffee") at DIN Standards Committee Food and Agricultural Products (NAL).
This document replaces DIN 10775-1:1986-10 .
