In the new edition of the standard, the contents have been editorially revised and the normative references have been updated. Furthermore, dimensional specifications have been deleted and the requirements for the steel to be used have been adapted to the currently valid standards. The standard has been prepared by Subcommittee NA 020-00-11-08 UA "Handgeräte" ("Hand-held tools") of NAEBM.
