Overview

This standard applies for stainless steel screw pipe connections for expanding or welding for piping systems in the food industry. It specifies requirement for the dimensions, design and materials for threaded couplings for nominal sizes DN 10 to DN 100 for expanding, and nominal sizes DN 10 to DN 150 for butt welding to tubes as in DIN 11850. It has been prepared by Working Committee NA 003-01-14 AA "Armaturen für die Lebensmittelindustrie" ("Valves for the food industry") at the Valves Standards Committee (NAA).
