DIN 11867 applies to dimensions, design and materials of elbows with external diameters from 6,35 mm to 219,10 mm. The ends are suitable for orbital welding. The elbows take into account the requirements for pigging technology with larger radiuses and lower operating pressures, especially for pigs made of soft materials. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 003-01-14 AA "Armaturen für die Lebensmittelindustrie" ("Valves for the food industry") at the Valves Standards Committee (NAA) at DIN.
