Overview
With DIN EN 124-1, DIN EN 124-2, DIN EN 124-3, DIN EN 124-4, DIN EN 124-5 and DIN EN 124-6, the standard applies to gully tops and manhole tops with a clear width of up to including 1 000 mm which are constantly or occasionally subjected to the stresses in for vehicular and pedestrian areas or comparable stresses. For the securing of the cover/grating within the frame by an area-related mass according to DIN EN 124-1:2015, 6.6 b), the area-related minimum mass corresponding to the security level in Germany is specified. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 119-05-01 AA "Entwässerungsgegenstände (CEN/TC 165/WG 4)" ("Sewage fittings (CEN/TC 165/WG 4)") at DIN.
