This document specifies the conditions for interchangeability of independently manufactured plugs and plug sleeves. This document is applicable to interchangeable (abbreviation NS) straight bore stopcocks made from glass. The plug may be made of hollow (H) or solid (M) glass or PTFE (P) and may have elbow connections (B), nominal sizes 10/1 to 29/10, or capillary tube attachments, nominal sizes 12/2 and 14/3. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 055-01-03 AA "Glasgeräte und Apparate" ("Glassware and glass apparatus") at DIN Standards Committee Laboratory Devices and Installations (FNLa).
