DIN 12605:2013-03

Weighing vessels serve in laboratories for weighing of solid or fluid substances. The standard is applicable for low or high design weighing vessels and with caps made of borosilicate glass 3.3 or quartz (silica) glass. It specifies the materials, designation, dimensions and design shapes. The standard has been prepared by Working Committee "Glasgeräte und Apparate" ("Glassware and glass apparatus") (NA 055-01-03 AA) at the Laboratory Devices and Installations Standards Committee (FNLa). The following modifications have been made with respect to DIN 12605:1970-03: a) borosilicate glass 3.3 or quartz glass has been specified as material; b) additional rated dimensions have been supplemented; c) all dimensions have been adapted to the state of the art with regard to production engineering; d) designation has been changed.
