Overview
After Technical Committee CEN/TC 166 "Chimneys" of CEN (Comité Européenne de Normalisation) adopted EN 1856-1 and EN 1856-2 "Chimneys - Requirements for metal chimneys - Part 2: Metal flue liners and connecting flue pipes" with specifications for materials for connectors of combustion plants, the specified Committee NA 005-11-17 AA "Abgasanlagen - Metall (Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 166/SC 2)" ("Metal chimneys (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 166/SC 2)"), as the competent Working Committee, decided to establish nationally applied dimensions of connectors in this standard. Uncertainties in Table 2 and the updating of normative references made it necessary to revise the 2008 version. The committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-11-17 AA "Abgasanlagen - Metall (Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 166/SC 2)" ("Metal chimneys (national mirror committee for CEN/TC 166/SC 2)") at DIN.
