Due to the adoption of ISO 965-1 as DIN ISO 965-1, several contents of the previous DIN 13-52 are dealt with there, so that the new edition of DIN 13-52 became necessary as a residual standard. DIN 13-52 still contains specifications on tolerances and deviations of profile for the multi-start thread.
