Overview

The minimum requirements specified in this standard apply to power generators that are permanently installed in firefighting vehicles, are not to be used for feeding into fixed or third-party supply networks, and are suitable for the generation of single-phase alternating current only, whose power does not exceed 12 kVA, and whose frequency and voltage are automatically regulated. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-02-02 AA "Elektrische Betriebsmittel" ("Electrical equipment") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW) and contains the Amendment A1.
