Overview

This document specifies minimum requirements for power generators that are installed in firefighting vehicles, may not be used to feed into stationary or external supply networks, and - are suitable for the generation of single-phase and three-phase alternating current; - whose output does not exceed 12 kVA; - whose frequency and voltage are automatically regulated. This standard applies together with DIN VDE 0100-717 (VDE 0100-717) for the installation of low-voltage systems in firefighting vehicles. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-06-03 AA "Stromerzeugung und Stromverteilung" ("Power generation and distribution") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW).
