DIN 14700-1:2016-08

This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 031-02-02 AA "Elektrische Betriebsmittel" ("Electrical equipment") at DIN Standards Committee Firefighting and Fire Protection (FNFW). The DIN 14700 series of standards specifies requirements for a uniform CAN interface for components that are installed in emergency vehicles of the fire department and in emergency vehicles of the public authorities and organizations that perform security tasks (BOS) and are integrated into the vehicle operation and vehicle diagnostics of the vehicle body. The components including the gateway have no direct connection to the networks of the vehicle chassis. Part 2 defines the process data objects from the gateway to the respective components. Part 9 defines the process data objects from the winch handle to the gateway. Part 1 specifies the general requirements for the CAN interfaces.
